Mask Use
As of March 15, 2022, masks are no longer required by public health order in most places in Manitoba, including Kildonan Place.
Please note that tenants may set their own policies, and some tenants may still require masks for entry or to receive specific services.
For a list of tenants that have advised that they will still require masks, please click here. Please note that this list is subject to change without notice, and may not be comprehensive.
Please respect and adhere to these policies. If you do not wish to wear a mask during your entire visit, we recommend you bring a mask with you or contact the tenant beforehand if you are unsure of their policy.
Proof of Vaccination
As of March 1, 2022, proof of vaccination is not required in the Kildonan Place food court, dine-in restaurants, or Famous Players. Food and drink may also be consumed in the mall common areas.
To the best of our knowledge, all businesses affected by this change have chosen to eliminate the proof of vaccination policy; Please note that this is subject to change, and individual businesses are free to set their own policies as they wish.
Mall hours
The mall will be open to the public from 10am until 8pm Monday-Friday, 10am until 6pm Saturday and 11am until 6pm Sunday. Please note that some retailers may have indicated to us that they are operating on a different schedule from the mall. If you are unsure, please contact the tenant directly.
Mall hours are subject to change, so please check this page before visiting, or contact individual tenants by phone.

Steps We are Taking for Your Safety
Here are some of the ways we are working to keep our visitors, staff, tenants, and community safe:
Strict Sick Policy: Reinforcement of strict sick policies with our administration employees and our contractors. | Increased cleaning: More frequent, and deeper cleaning and disinfecting of common space surfaces, washrooms, and other areas. |
Safety signage: Placement of signage and visual reminders about physical distancing measures throughout common areas. | Hand sanitizer stations: Installation of hand sanitizer stations throughout the mall and at points of entry. |
Strollers and mobility aids: Strollers and mobility aids are cleaned before and after each use | Protective barriers: Installation of personal protective barriers at Guest Services and the Food Court tray wash station. |
Washroom measures: Increased frequency of washroom checks to ensure they stay clean and well stocked with soap and paper product. In addition, we have taken measures to ensure washrooms can meet physical distancing requirements. | Food service measures: When in use, surfaces such as tables, chairs and booths are cleaned between customers. Condiments, napkins, etc. are not self-serve and are available upon request. Drink refills are not allowed. In the food court, all orders will be packaged "to go" - trays are not in use. |
| Curbside pickup: Creation of dedicated curbside pickup areas to reduce the number of people required to enter the property. |
The safety of our customers, employees and the public are our priority. We continue to monitor the situation closely and to work with our tenants at a national and local level to update our response as new developments occur.
